Hi
Thanks for keeping me posted!
Yes, dip slides are available in the market and with doctors to detect bacteria. However all methods of urine examination are influenced by the presence of antibacterial agent in the urine. So you must have stopped antibiotic at least for 3 days (7 days would be best) before you give the sample for testing.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!

Well, an urologist would be the ideal choice. However get a culture sensitivity test for both semen and urine done. This will tell you what organism is causing the infection and what antibiotic will kill it permanently. Please do not take any antibiotic without this test because if the organism is not sensitive to the antibiotic, it will only sit quietly for some time and then flare up again.
