re-operation for hydrocele

I underwent an operation for a hydrocele last year. The hydrocele has dissappeared, however I am unhappy with the result both physically and aesthetically. My main problem is discomfort - I have never been able to adjust to the new state post op - I find that the scrotum and testis are too high in the body, and this gets me down. It feels uncomfortable, and I wish to get another op to sort it out (hopefully to its original state).
I am aware that if I do this, the hydrocele might return and I would then have to go for regular operations to get it drained, but I would be happier that way.
Could anyone please help me think of some options?
