  I am a 39 yr old white male that was born with only one kidney on my right side. Have had 14 major and 12 minor surgeries.  Mostly kidney and collon surgeries, I have also had 3 neph tubes put in to drain blocked kidney.
  I run a constant low grade fever and urine is always cloudy even withe the amount of fluid intake, I am on Cipro 500 mgs twice a day but to no avail, I am also resistant to numerous antibiotics. Both my drs. here at home and at mayo say that the bacteria has gotton into the muscle tissue and i will never get rid of the infections, I am in constant pain, plus now after they took out my bladder due to infections and cancer I also have constant pain sometimes very sever pain just above the incesion area.  
  My question is what can i do to get rid of some of the pain just so I can live again.  Depression sets in really hard sometimes, and I know that my wife is hurting by it I just don't have the want to do anything due to the pain it iis so sever sometimes.  Would it hurt any if i smoke a little pot every now and again it does seem to help, do you see any draw backs to this form of pain control, I smoke about every other day, not much just enough to deaden the nerves in the two areas.
