reacurent cystytis

I have had a tvt op in october .Within one day afther having intercourse with my husband i start having the dreadfull burning the best way to explain is cystytis symptoms, I sent msu to the lab and always comes back negative ! but the only way that clears up is with antibiots.I have had a cystoscopy and everything is fine the tape in not exposed or anything like that! I so tired and miserable with this. i have heamochromotosis and my periods are just a spot.my doctor put me on a long course of antibiots but im so down ive lost faith and thats why im writing to your site! please help?

Thanks for writing in. Recurrent cystitis after TVT surgery could be due to certain factors like injury to the bladder, inability of the bladder to void completely, over active bladder and tape erosion.
Do you have any other symptoms like frequency, urgency, urine leak and incomplete voiding sensation from the bladder?
I would suggest that you visit a urologist and discuss the above mentioned possibilities and follow his advise.
