Hi,
Thanks for writing in. Chlamydia is treated with azithromycin or doxycycline. All sex partners should be evaluated, tested, and treated. Persons with chlamydia should abstain from sexual intercourse until they and their sex partners have completed treatment, otherwise re-infection is possible. Also, testing for chlamydia after three or four months of treatment is necessary to see if treatment was complete or not.
If treated perfectly, there is no chance of infection from a partner who does not have it.
Consult a urologist for further assistance.
Best.
