Any scrotal mass needs to be further evaluated. It is possible that it may be secondary to the vasectomy. However, other causes such as infection, cysts, or tumors can also present as testicular masses.
I would suggest a scrotal ultrasound. This would be the most reasonable test to make sure nothing more serious is going on. This test should be discussed with your personal physician.
A urinalysis should also be considered to screen for infection.
Followup with your personal physician is essential.
