small pimple like object on scrotum

by Snoop973, Oct 02, 2008 02:25PM
About a week ago I noticed a small pimple like object on the bottom half of my scrotum. It is on top of the skin and is not painul or itchy. It has not grown or shrunk either. Lately I have been making sure that I washed it extra carefully. I do not know what this is and I am getting very nervous that I might have an std. I am hoping it is just a pimple but it is still there and pimples usually go away after a few days. Please help me figure out what this might be.

Men get sebaceous cysts on their scrotum. They appear to be overgrown pimples. Usually they do not cause problems. They can get infected and if this is a recurring problem can be excised. Otherwise they are best left alone.
