spc bag no longer filling

I recieved a supra pubic a month ago for accute urinary restriction. three days ago i began urinating out of my penis again and now the catheter is not pulling urine anymore. I am scheduled for a scope in four days. this is the first day of the catheter not working. should I be concerned about keeping it in any longer if I an emptying regularly? should I go to the doctor and have him remove it early?
