A bladder stricture refers to a scar in the tissue which when present along an opening or hollow area may actually cause narrowing or obstructive symptoms. Strictures may involve structures of the lower urinary tract .These include the bladder and the urethra.
"Stricture disease may occur anywhere from the bladder to the tip of the penis. The common causes of stricture are trauma to the urethra and gonorrheal infection. However, in many cases, no cause can be identified."

Have you had any history of recurrent urinary tract infections before?
Any history of trauma or surgery to the area?
Also, do you have any associated symptoms like weak urine stream or straining to initiate urination?
