It is possible that the pain and tenderness on one side could mean an inflammation of the epididymitis.The pain could also be due to more complex reasons, such as hernia, or torsion.
Follow up with your doctor if you have been on ciprofloxacin for more than 2 days without any relief.
You can take tylenol for the pain.
Avoid any activity that puts pressure on the perineal region and strains the abdomen unduly.

How long ago did the pain appear?
How long have you been on the ciprofloxacin?
Do you have any other symptoms, such as pain during urination or ejaculation?
Have you examined yourself to rule out any lumps or swelling?
