testicle stuck to scrotum

Hello I'm a 21 year old african american male and when I was a baby I had surgery on my right testicle for an undesending testicle and as far as I remember my right testie has been stuck to the scrotum which means if I tried to move it around. It stays in one place and feels like it has been glued to the inside of the scrotum . I also have loss of sensation in that testie for example if I were to get kick in my testicles I wouldn't feel pain in my right testie only my left one and also feels very tingly at times and seem to be big one minute and the next minute its small..had an autrasound done and my blood flow to that testicle is normal.           Also when I'm having sex it seem like I have a loss of sensation to stay erect especially when I put a condom on I go soft very quicky and can't get erect again no matter what I do and I ejaculate a very very small amount not sure what is going on but its been going on for as long as I remember and I have no pain and no rashes just my right testicle is always tingly and when I do ejaculate it feel as tho all the sperm is coming out of just the right testicle and the scrotum gets tighter around my right testicle when I ejaculate can someone please tell me if this is normal I have no insurance so I'm unable to go see a doctor for it and wanted to know if its any medicine or antibiotic I need to get the testicle moving freely again?? Or does that require surgery?? Is it a name for what is going on so I can read more about it??....my right testicle is stuck to the inside of the scrotum so even if I was to pull on my testicle to get it moving again it would hurt because it will still be stuck to the skin as if my right testicle and my scrotum sack was meant to be like that as if it grew apart of the scrotum..do anyone think that when I had the surgery done the surgins glued my testicle to my scrotum for a reason?? Am I still able to have kids?? Someone please help I need answers ASAP!! I'm getting older now and this problem is really starting to scare me thanks a lot everyone

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that any sort of surgery poses a risk. If I would be able to go through this again, I would avoid surgery. There is a very high likelyhood that you would loose the testicle if you opt for surgery. It is just not worth the trouble.

All  the best.

Hi, I know what you are referring to. I was born with undescended testes on both sides. My left came down before the age of 1 but the right did not move down untill the age of 12-13.

I did not have a problem with the testes being fixed in the scrotum, as a matter of fact my right would at times go up into the inguinal region.

At the age of 35 and having had problems with multiple bouts of epididymitis and orchitis, I decided to go for a vasectomy in the hope that it would stop the infections. One day after the vasectomy, the left side of the scrotum swelled up to be the size of a grapefruit due to a blood clot (hematoma). I received emergency surgery to have the blood clot removed.

Once I got out of the hospital and back home, I noticed that the left testicle now was fixed to the side of my left scrotum, just near the penis. I worked as a heavy duty mechanic at being in certain positions was discomfortable or just painfull. When I saw the urologist for a follow up a year later, he told me there was nothing wrong and if I was to opt for surgery to get the teste freed, I should be prepared to loose the testicle. 3 days after my appointment I ended up in hospital with an infection in the left testicle. After a week of deterioration they sent me back to the urologist in the city. On the night of my birthday, April 26 I underwent emergency surgery to get my left testicle removed. The infection was so bad that they removed it form the scrotum with part of the scrotum. The scrotum was than left open to heal from the inside out. The next day the urologist came to great me. He mentioned; "I heard it was your birthday, did you have a ball.' Different sense of humor I guess. For the next week I remained in the hospital in an isolation room since the infection was a staph infection. For the next two months, I had a sitz bath and dressing change every 6hours. After having the sitz bath, my scrotum was packed with saline soaked gauze, untill the scrotum closed. For me it was a painfull experience.

If I was in your place, I would leave things the way they are. You would not want to take the risks of complications. If having the testicle fixed to the scrotum poses a big problem with pain, it might be best to have it removed. Given what has taken place, I much rather would have had to deal with a fixed testicle over loosing one. I now take testosterone shots due to low testosterone levels. Remember that any surgery has the potential of complications. I never would have thought of my nightmares by just having a vasectomy.

Other than surgery, there is not much that they can offer you for a fix. To me it's not worth the risks.

All the best.
