testicular calcification and bilateral hydroceles

I have been diagnosed with the above testicular calcification and bilateral hydroceles on my right testes. There is an obvious discomfort and I am considering surgery. I am wondering why so many surgeons rejects the idea or surgery. I am 51 years of age and I am noticing a change on my sexual performance, I know age is a factor but I want to make sure there are no other issues that may create more problems. The remedy for hydrocele is surgery only. Scrotal calcification could be due to 2 reasons. Either it’s due to an old trauma/infection which can get calcified or it could possibly be due to the hydrocele wall getting calcified. The calcification may make the surgery a bit difficult. However, will suggest you to consult a urologist for the same and get yourself operated if he/she is of that opinion. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
