Hello,
From the symptoms it sounds like epidermoid cyst.It is a benign growth and can be diagnosed on ultrasound testis. But MRI is a more specific test.It can be treated by organ-preserving surgery and this surgery can be done in routine on an outpatient basis.I sincerely suggest you to discuss it with your urologist.
I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.

thanks doctor, i really appreciate your time...i went to see a urologist today he felt the lump and said it was on the outer cover of the left teste not comming from with inside the actuall testical(it is inside the skin but on the outer shekk if of testical) so he determined it was a cyst  would you agree with that...he gave me an ultrasound just to be sure...do you beleive he can accuarately tell whether this lump is cancerous or not from the ultrasound or do you beleive a blood test is in order to ease my mind?  if it is just a cyst on the testical should i get it remeoved?

Hello,
The kind of bump it is depends on whether it is present inside the testicles or on the skin.If it is present inside the testicles, then it can be an epididymal cyst or benign testicular growth.Even testicular malignancy cannot be ruled out unless proved otherwise. If it is present on skin,.then it can be an infected hair follicle or sebaceous cyst.

An ultrasound testes can help in confirming a diagnosis.I would suggest you to consult a urologist and get it done.

I sincerely hope it helps.Take care and regards.
