penileCancer - penis trauma isn't the cause. The ultrasound can also evaluate blood flow to the penis as well.
As to whether it can corrected, it would depend on what is wrong. If there is evidence of trauma or a hematoma, then surgical therapy is often the choice the consider.
To be complete, I would also suggest tests for STDs, such as gonorrhea and chlamydia. Intrinsic anatomical abnormalities can also be evaluated via a cystoscopy.
As to the answer to your second question - I am not aware of studies comparing the average penis size between generations.
