turp

by golfinman, May 15, 2008 04:41PM
My dad had turp surgery 3 months ago.  The catheter has been removed two times by his doctor.  I had to take him
to emergency hospital each time to have the tube reinserted as he was unable to urinate  on his own.  He has now had the tube in him for almost three months.  The Dr. told me to pray alot.  Is there something else that can be
done to help my father urinate without his tube?  What is the normal cause of this condition and do you feel the
the condition will repair itself?  I would love some information from you on this subject.  Thank you for your help
My father is 86 years old.
Terry
