unable to urinate

I had a TULIP with partial enlargement of the bladder neck 2 weeks ago. I have had decreasing ability to urinate since the surgery and have a supra-pubic cath in place. My doctor says I have a greatly enlarged bladder. Yesterday I was only able to dribble out about 20ml but when I unplugged the cath I had 800ml residual. Before surgery I was having 300 to 600 residual. Am I likely to be stuck with the supra-pubic cath or CISC as permanent solutions or is there something else that could be done?
