urethroplasty Mr Watkins
Hi I wonder if anyone can help answer this query, I read some one on here had his operation by Mr Watkins, in London, my partner is in need of this operation and I would like to know if Mr Watkins is an approachable friendly specialist. Today we have been to see a Urethroplasty surgeon whom we found to be hostile and aggressive,made us both feel uncomfortable and couldn't be bothered to deal with us, really do not want to experience that kind of treatment again. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

What I suggest is that you ask your doctor to refer you to a different hospital and report the behaviour of what you experienced to the hospital.
Another option is to find out if there is another urethroplasty surgeon at that hospital that you deal with you.
May be he had a bad day, but there is no excuse for him to behave in that manner. It is unacceptable. It is very stressful and traumatic knowing that your husband is going to have to have that done and you don't need nasty people to be dealing with you.
