i have had uric acid for a while and it has successfully gone down for a long period... few things which worked for me are a steady diet not high on proteins, zero alcohol, discplined life style and regularRegular insulin yogic exercises good luck
High uric acid levels could leadLead poisoning to goutAcute gouty arthritis Gout - chronic Pseudogout Tophi gout in hand. However, there is no standard reference level as each person's acid level is interpreted by height, weight, age, etc. The lab should have printed out the reference range for your individual state and your doctor can tell you where you are.
High alcohol consumption does increase uric acid as does eating high-purine foods, such as sardines, herring, liver, deer meat. etc. The advice of fin777 is correct. Watch your diet and exercise.
Zyloric tablets are prescribed to lower uric acid content, but if you want to go natural, ask your doctor for any suggestions. If he seems closed to the idea, seek out a second opinion.
on Zyloric, my experience has not been good, i was given a 23 days zyloric course and my uric acid resurfaced when my course got over, like keyzersoce says the best way to go for is to go natural,,, you cd try zyloric and see, who knows it might work, also get a 24 hour urine test done
