urine frequency

hey doc,
since 8 years i am experiencing frequent urination with no pain at lower abdominal area.at every 30-45 min.in day i need to urinate, but at night only once.
i am on medicine since 4 months below are the medicine which doctor prescribed but no effects :-

1. Urotel 4 mg
2. soliten 4 mg
3. alfu tablet

now at last visit ,from semen culture test STAPHYLOCOCCUS AREOUS  infection found for which he gave me :-

1.Tamlet 4 mg    (tolterodine tartarate )
2. clavox 625      ( amoxycillin clavulanate)
3. Bectrim          ( trimethoprim and sulphamethoxazole )

Is my treatment going in right direction or not ?

am i living with this bacteria since 8 years ,is it possible ?

Symptoms at present are

Daytime urine frequency - every 1 hour
Night urine frequency- once
Urge to go urine even after emptying the bladder
Reduced flow
Weakness

The initial diagnostic tests done are :-

blood sugar
urine analysis
Uriflowmetry
Urine culture and sensitivity test
Semen culture and sensitivity test

Above all test results are negative

Now after antibiotics the present doctor prefers following tests

Urodynamic test
Diagnostic cystoscopy

Hi!
If it is indeed Staph infection then you need to ask doctor if it is MRSA—this infection can persist for years and needs rigorous treatment. Other than this, you need to get blood sugar tested as diabetes too can cause an infection to persist. Take care!
