what do i do?

ok so for the last hour i have had this feeling that i have had to pee but when i go to the bathroom either nothing or very little comes out. when i do, i have blood in my urine. can someone please tell me what i need to do?

Hello,
Blood in urine should not be taken lightly. One of the possible causes for your symptoms is kidney infection and obstruction in the kidneys which can cause both blood in urine and frequent urge to urinate. When the blood in the urine is at the beginning of urination, it most likely comes from the urethra, (the tube from the bladder to the outside). Blood throughout urination is most likely from the bladder or kidneys or ureters (the tubes connecting the kidneys and the bladder).

Diagnostic tests that may be performed include Urinalysis, Urine culture, X-rays of the kidneys, Cystoscopy, IVP, Abdominal ultrasound and CT scan of the abdomen. Please consult a urologist at the earliest.
