white nodules on the penis

i really dont know how to start it but i will try. I dated a guy who is very nice and his the same age as mine 26years old we never had sex but when things got heat up ive seen his private part in his scrotum and around the lower part of the penis he has a white nodules and im kinda scared about him what is it. he told me when he was shaving he accidentaly open some part of the skin and it resulted to nodules and many of them. and like big pimple two times the size of a pimple, and he said its not hurt and he said the doctor told him it can only be removed through surgical but since im worried about his condition can anyone give me an info...

Without examination,confirmation of a diagnosis is tough but it can be rash due to friction rub,folliculitis,cysts ,molluscum contagiosum(multiple, small, dome-shaped papules, often with a central depression or plug) or genital warts(caused by HPV infection).From the symptoms it sounds like sebaceous cysts. A sebaceous cyst is a closed sac occurring just under the skin which contains a "pasty" or "cheesy" looking substance called keratin.
They are non contagious.
