Ovulation and sperm survival

Sperms can survive in the female body for up to 2 days while an egg is fertile for a maximum of 15 hours. Wen is it safe to hav sex? Im on a 24-25 day cycle so how do i calculate my ovulation day? is it safe to have sex 2days before or 2days after ovulation?
