Can vit d deficiency cause facial weight loss?

hi there, I've been diagnosed with vit d deficiency recently and just started taking the capsules yesterday. But the past two months I've noted extreme facial weight loss but no weight loss to the rest of my body. I'm 32 and it seems bizarre that this change has happened so rapidly if it were due to aging?! I suddenly have very sunken eyes and lines where I didn't before. Also my skin has broken out in to terrible acne which has coincided with the facial loss. Also I've had a lot of aching and pain in the face. Could it be to the vit d deficiency or some other deficiency?

Any thoughts or help would be really appreciated as its really scary suddenly looking so gaunt. Thanks, Katharine
