my bad, I meant "USP symbol"
if you want a vitamin/mineral supplement that contains what it says it contains, look for the "UPC symbol" on the label. The UPC symbol ensures the following:
1. Contains ingredients stated on the label
2. Has the declared amount of ingredients
3. Will disintegrate or dissolve effectively to release nutrients for absorption into your body
4. Has been screened for harmful contaminants such as pesticides, bacteria, and heavy metals
5. Has been manufactured using safe, sanitary and well-controlled procedures
Not all vitamins are available in liquid form, and not all vitamins are available in pill or capsule form. You can get some liquid vitamins, like E in gelcaps, which is a liquid in a capsule. The problem with getting vitamins in a liquid form is the ease of over/under dosing, as well as degradtion of the vitamin over time in a bottle. All liquid vitamins should be in a dark colored glass bottle and kept out of the sunlight and heat. Some require refrigeration. Pills and capsules are best for exact dosage, last longer than liquids and are often cheaper. The choice is what you like best.
