pain in lower abdomen

My mother is suffering from acute pain in her lower abdomen, for the past 1year. Especially at the end of her backbone. She has problem in getting up from the ground if she sits for more than 15 mins on the ground. Recently she got her medical check up done and there was Vitamin B12 deficiency(value came out around 100) and also her keratin count is 43. Her age is 45 yrs and she is a vegan. Please suggest some diet plan and what other precaution need to be taken by her.

100pg/mL is a severe vitamin B12 deficiency state. Vitamin B12 deficiency causes numerous adverse health effects including abdominal pain and muscle weakness.  80% of vegans are found to be deficient in vitamin B12. Supplementing with B12 is highly recommended with a vegan diet. Sublingual (under the tongue) B12 is an excellent way to boost B12 levels.
