if you cut out junk food and excess sugar, you should start seeing weight loss. i stopped drinking soda and cut out tons of extra sugar and fatty snacks, i too take the green tea extract pills 2x a day before eating breakfast. ive lost 36lbs since 9/14 and currently going for another 97lbs before this year is over. keep a daily log of what you eat, it will help you to see if you are over eating, or if you ate something that made you gain weight. always weigh yourself in the morning, i would say once a week pick a day and before u eat weigh yourself. weigh before u eat because sometimes if u eat something salty or with alot of sugar, it will cause u to bloat which makes it look like you gained weight.

an example of a menu:

breakfast: i ate 2 hard bolied eggs and 2 slices of watermelon
lunch: a lean cusine french bread pizza, a lite apple sauce, and a lite granola bar
snack: about 1 cup of Goldfish snack crackers (baby size)

And tons of water!! If you dont like water too much, try Crystal Light mixxed in water, its great and only 5 cals per serving.

Good luck!

Oh absolutely, if you cut out or down on sugar, bread and junk food you will definitely lose weight. And the fact that you're exercising is great too! Those types of foods tend to be higher in calories anyway so if you eliminate or avoid most of them, you will end up cutting back on a lot of your carb and calorie intake without even trying.  That being said, after you do that for a while, I have a feeling your weight loss might start to plataeu or slow down a bit. Cutting out a lot of the junk is a great start and is how I started too, but after a while you may need to make some additional changes. Losing weight really comes down to a simple math equation. It's all about calories in and calories out. If you burn more calories than you consume, you will lose weight. The type of food you eat makes a difference though and its great if you are willing to stick with eliminating junk food whenever possible, but you may want to keep track of your calorie intake after a while if you notice your weight loss starting to stall. I weight and measure all my food and I also food journal every day and it helps keep me on track. It's hard to say how much you should expect to lose per week because that really varies so much depending on the person and without knowing how many calories you're taking in, it's almost impossible to figure out. 1-2 lbs a week is safe, but most people lose more than that in the beginning weeks, especially if you have a higher starting weight.
