B12 Liptropics are not FDA approved to reduce weight.  B vitamins are water soluble, so I suppose if you take too much you'll just eliminate it.  Why waste your money with unapproved treatments when there are plenty of good ways to loose weight?

Well if anyone is interested....I have started taking the B12 Lipotropic pills Monday Jan. 7. Not only that, I have cut back on my calorie intake to about 1200 per day...which I have found a lot of things to eat and stay full that dont have a ton of calories. Lean Cuisines are AWESOME! I still have my espresso everyday and "ONE" bite of candybar after supper. Im doing awesome and loving my results. I dont have jitters. It doesnt keep me up at night. I think its a good thing despite negative reponses to it. I did talk to a Doc....yes it is NOT FDA "approved" but.....it falls under FDA's guidelines. And Im drinking lots of water....I use the to-go flavor things for water and they are really good. So far since Monday I have lost 5.2 pounds. Yes I know thats a little more than you are really suppose to but Im happy and still feel really good! I recommend it...take it or leave it. :0) Best of luck to those of you who are trying to lose weight!

The only thing that can help anyone lose weight and keep it off is by decreasing your caloric intake and increasing your exercise level.

You can do this or that "trendy" injection or pill, but in the end, if you aren't making a permanent change in what you take in vs. what you expend energy wise, you'll gain it all right back.

Well like I did say....I have lowered my calorie intake and exercise more (on top of having 2 little ones to chase around) Its just a personal thing that has helped me whether it be "trendy" or not. No one has to be so harsh about it. Some things work differently for others. But for me....Im doing good and I still like the pills. Im doing both and getting excellent results. Like I said...take it or leave it. If its not your cup of tea then Im happy for you, but it happens to be mine.

Hi I just started the lipotrophic shots and want to convert over to the pill because they are cheaper. I to have a 1200 calorie diet, exercise, and make healthier choices. I am curious to know how much have you lost since your initial response on Jan. 12,08? And where do you purchase your shots from?

lipotropics refers to the *b-like* substances choline and inositol, and can be combined
in tablets with methionine, typically DL Methionine, and amino acid.
they used to be touted as weight-loss aids, but while they can move fat about and
have uses, weight loss is not one of them.
B-12 is not used for weight loss but in some weight loss programs is given by injection.
supplements that have some validity in research for safe weight loss includes green tea,
PGX products and possibly CLA and a few others.

Count me in on the b12 with lipotropics team of Losers... and proud of it.  Like you, I've cut my calories back, increased my water intake and exercise and with implementing the b12 with lipotropics shots and pills have shed over 25 pounds (at a rate of a little over a pound a week) which is a safe and effective weightloss than I know will stay off.  I was off the pills and shots for over a month and didn't gain a single pound back.  By implementing the shots and pills in the very beginning,  I was able to make a Healthy Lifestyle change.
As a man once said... "A man with a true experience is never at the mercy of a man with a mere argument".  People can argue against it all they want, but you (and I ) are getting results!!

I am a happy user of the lipotropic injections, I lost more than 50 pounds in about 6 months, I've  never been healthier and happier.
The lipotropic injections are by far the best treatment out there, you do not feel weak, you are not hyper neither your heart is beating like crazy, I didn't had insomnia neither !...

Yes !  I am not fat any more and I am keeping the weight off with changes in my lifestyle and taking one or two injections a month.

I don't think that the lipotropic injections are "trendy",  as a formerly fat person who used most and everything in the market I'll take the injections as a medical and scientific product over any other OTC miracle pill....

I think that any doctor should look forward to use this products with their patients,  after all.. America is the FATTEST country in the whole world.... there's plenty of FAT patients out there who really need help and motivation instead of criticism to weight lost products or tools...

I am 33 yrs old, 200 lbs, strong and happy,  usually wearing 32 - 33  waist True Religion Jeans ( love them )... thanks to the doctors, nurses who motivated me and the lipotropics and B12 - B6 injections,

Hello!  I cant help but wonder about those that have posted that the shots dont work ect. ect.  Have you guys actually tried them with no results?? Because I know a LOT of people including myself that have tried them and they WORK! I dont know how exactly, but they do.  I am a very big sceptic, I read and read about it before I decided to try it. Also, before I ever started going, I was already doing really well, only 1500 calories per day, and exercising 3-4 times per week about 45 minutes per day.  I was losing 1-1/5 pounds per week consistently.  I was happy with that, but definitely wanted more energy. So I decided to try the shots.  I already had a cousin that had tried it and lost 45 pounds in 3 months.  My thinking was that even if I didnt lose more than I was already losing, that if it gave me more energy then that was great!  I started going two weeks ago, and take the shot along with the appetite suppressants and I feel like I am shrinking, literally, everyday I get up and I can physically see myself getting smaller, especially my butt and belly area, and have lost 7 pounds (about 3 1/2 pounds per week, so it doubles how much you lose) and I am not doing anything any differently than I was doing.  I was already on 1500 calories, the only difference is the appetite suppressant REALLY works well, no jitters or shakes, but I truley do not feel hungry at all, so maybe I am taking in fewer calories without trying to. My energy level is great, I am truley happy to be one that recommends this!!  I dont know how it works, but for those that have struggled for so long with being overweight and NOTHING working, than I recommend it.  I had a total hyster. a year ago and gained 15 pounds. Like I said, I already was on track with dieting and changing my lifestyle which was going great, but this just makes it even better.

Congrats on the healthy lifestyle change!  I'm in agreement with you, that the B12 Lipotropics really is a great aid to help speed up the weightloss.  I've grown to like the injection that also adds the B6 in there... tends to keep my energy at a more sustained level.

I just have to share this y'all!

I have NEVER been one to run.. I've always admired people that could and always wanted to, but due to all the Thyroid problems I had, and then the all-time high in my weight there was no way my ankles could do it.

Well, today I thought "If they can do it on The Biggest Loser, then I'm going to try it" and I did.  I'm starting slowly, but I JOGGED at 3.5mph through half my 30-minute treadmill workout....... and feel AWESOME!!!!!  I'm so excited!!  I not only look in the mirror every day seeing a mere shadow of the person I used to be... but now THIS!!
I can't begin to tell you how emotional my two children became when they saw their Mom jogging... today my daughter said "When you get used to running, can we run together around the park this summer?!".... OMgosh.... I have missed out on soooo much with my children... it's like I have my life back again!

I did my B12/Lipotropics on Monday, so tomorrow (Thurs) I'll be due for another one.  I'm so excited and can't hardly wait to weigh in and measure on Saturday!!.
Thanks so much for letting me take this space to share my day today... I'm so blessed!
