Crystal Light!

by gokuangel, Jan 09, 2009 01:43PM
Ok every1 seems to be doing a great job and helping out here so I thought maybe I should make a post and about this! I keep hearing alot of peeps saying they really like it and then I hear some of the new people come on and complain about not liking plain water and the suggestion is usually crystal light!! So maybe we could post our thoughts on crystal light,What flavors you like and/or recommend etc..
So for me I have been hooked on the peach mango tea, its SO my fav.!! It's called metabolism + and has green tea in it so it makes you feel really energized!!!  I just got the pink lemonade yesterday, I have been craving some sooo bad and if remember minute maid cans have like 190 calories!! Over 150 I know that for the regular one so I got crystal lite and its so delicious plus only the 5 cals.!!

I do like a lot of the flavours but have opted to not intake any artificial sweeteners as they give me headaches so I will have to stay with water and the occasional popsicle.  My husband loves the lime one the best.

Thats ok Trudie!! It understandable!! I just thought it would cool if we listed our optional drinks that we drink here for the new members since every time they come aboard the first thing they say is they drink soda!! If there is anything else you do drink besides water then do list!!!

I like to add Crystal Light to water as well.  My favorite is the regular lemonade flavor.  I also like to make popsicles out of it in the summer time.

For a pick-me up in the mornings I add Herbalife Lift-Off to water.  It has a great kick, no cals, 100% vitamin C, and vitamin B as well if I am not mistaken.  I like the orange flavor.  I am going to try maybe the tropical fruit flavor with my next order as well I think.

Great post!  Always good to get more water in.  I have heard of spritzing some fresh lemon/lime juice into a glass of iced water as well, but I'm not a fan myself.  ; )

Other than water and herbal teas what I also drink is tomato juice.  It really helps kill a hunger pain.

I'm rarely thirsty, esp. in the winter, so I barely squeeze in enough H20.  I do indulge in the occasional (not even a glass/week) Crystal Light, but like Trudie, have to watch those headaches.

I brew strong tea and then keep it in my fridge to add to water.  That way, I need to brew less often.

I used to be a diet soda/crystal light junkie 'til last spring.  I didn't get headaches from artificial sweeteners, but they did make my appetite harder to control.  Having the ultra-sweet taste from those drinks made me get more cravings in general.

Once in awhile, I'll buy seltzer, 'cause I miss the bubbles!
