Greesy orange bowels

by laydeesole, Feb 26, 2008 09:16PM
I just recently started the Alli orlistat 60mg diet pills and since them I have had these orange greesy bowels floating in the tolet.  Is there a problem I need to be aware of?

Its probably from the Alli.  You're lucky the BMs are in the toilet.  Many people on Alli have them in their underpants.

Ask your doctor or pharmacist to be sure, but my guess is that its from the Alli.

It IS  from the Alli, have you read the pamplet that comes with the starter pack? it will explain it all. I had the same issue until I read the info packet. I guess that is why they insist on you getting the starter pack to start with(lol). You need to watch your intake of fat, the more fat you eat the more fat comes out of the other end. Fat is what you are referring to as the greesy orange stuff floating. Alli recommends not to consume more than 15grams of fat per meal. what ever you do becareful...well umm..passing gas!!! can be VERY unplesant while shopping or at work...lol. Hope I was helpful.

Has ALLI been working for you?  I have been taking it ... following the directions ... and haven't lost an ounce.  I haven't had any problems like you speak of - but it is a side effect ... it says that in the brochure.  But I also don't even eat close to 15g of fat per meal.

Yes this is from the alli, I wear pany liners justin case and I havent had a probem yet (thank god).  But yes the higher the fat content in the food you eat the more orange grease your going to get in the toilet.  Its what the drug is made to do, expell 25% of the the fat you eat.  Do consider this scary thought, the fat that you see in the toplet is only 25% of the fat that your eating and putting into your body everyday.......
