Know it sounds weird, but have you ever tried charred bananas? Peel a banana and toast it directly over your stove's open burner until it chars slightly, turning to get all the sides; or cut into slices and broil and flip until you get the same result. It tastes kind of like a roasted marshmallow. And it works great as a substitute if you go camping. You can even make a "healthy smore" if you use natural PB in place of the cholcolate and even a whole grain cracker (tho I just use the graham cracker)
