Healthy weight loss goal

by ngio64, Jan 31, 2009 09:27AM
I just added a weight loss tracker and I was not sure how to use the goal. Are short term goals better, or a long term goal that you reach in increments.  Is 5lbs a month safe? I gave myself a year to lose 61 lbs. Is that too big of a goal at first? I just don't want to get discouraged and give up.

Sounds fine to me-  set your tracker up with your long term goal and you will see a line showing you where you should be each day/week -  5lb a month is great -  should be aiming to lose 1-3lb a week.

YOU CAN AND WILL DO THIS :)
