There are a ton of websites that will calculate your Daily Calorice Need or Basil Metobolic Rate. You will want to consider your activity level. You can safely lose two pounds a week, which would require a defecit of 1,000 calories a day. But keep in mind that you really don't want to eat less then 1,000 calories so if you are not able to exercise I would try to lose no more then one pound a week or 500 calorie deficit a day.
Example: If you calculate your BMR to be 1600 calories a day (the amount needed for your body to function) you could ristrict your diet to eating 1100 calories a day and lose a pound a week.
I know a pound does not seem like a lot, but the faster you lose the weight the harder time your body will have keeping it off.
I am trying to lose 20 pounds (I am 5'4" and weight 147 pounds), but I want to lose the weight over a year and a half. So I need to lose just over one pound a week to meet my goal.
Good luck to you ladies!!!
P.S. I would use more then one calculator and take the average...
And keep in mind muscle weighs more then fat so sometimes your body fat percentage is a healthier choice.

Im lucky I have a family that eats what i DO and no specific time.
I like to eat a bunch of times thru the day rather than 3 or 2. I have the time because of being hyperthyroid and putting my college on hold till it gets better. It is hard..be good to yourself
