How many calories do I need?

by pinkbelle, Apr 30, 2009 03:49PM
i tired one of those calorie calculators where you put in your height, weight and age .. and your activity level and it gives you the amount of calories u can eat to maintain your weight.. mine came out to 2457 a day so if i cut 500 calories from that it means 1900 calories.. i have been eating 1500 calories a day.. does this mean i will loose more than a pound a week?

You know, I am eating 1500 calories a day as well. I feel a difference in clothes but not weight quite yet.
I know that somehow we have to burn more calories than we eat in order to lose weight? Thats alot of calories being burnt! Food is just one part of it, but adding some sort of physical activity can help that process along.
