How much is a STONE

Being from America.. we weigh in pounds (lbs) or Kilograms ..????  but was wondering how much a STONE weighs?

Maybe a dumb question but HEY.. I'm from the USA...

In talking with MedHelp, I was reminded MedHelp already convert from kg to lb and "we can easily add stones."

a stone is 14lbs, we use stones a lot in the uk
