How to loose this weight??

I have had 3 babies in the past 3 years, each pregnancy was filled with sickness, bed rest and lots of meds. It has taken its toll on my body. From where I am now, I have 85 pounds to loose from my pre- pregnancy weight. Trying to research the most effective and stable ways to loose this weight. But as you can imagine my hands are full and I don't have alot of excess time to spend on this, however I gotta do what I gotta do to be healthy!

I currently weigh 205 pounds and am 5'2. I would like to return to 120. Quite frankly at this point I would be exstatic to be 150!

I have done a little bit of surfing on this site but thought it would be easier just to post and ask for input, on myself.

My stats are above, currently I do not 'work out' but am making arrangements to be able to do so. I would consider myself otherwise average active. I chase a 3, 2 year olds and a 7 month old all day long, (stay at home mom), and am constantly cleaning house! We focus on eating fresh foods (non packaged, etc) and balanced diet. I have not been keeping a food journal but have decided to begin.

I understand that a deficit of 500 calories a day equals a pound per week? What other information can you add to help me sort out my calorie weight loss needs? Any other recommendations?

I like your choices for breakfast. I am so stuck in cereal w milk mode... gives me some good ideas.  I am allergic to egg whites, so that cuts out eggs for me.

I love my coffee too! I have switched from Sugar to Agave Nector, which is sort of like a honey and made from the Agave, but doesn't raise the glycemic index.

I started the food tracker today.

What is your weight and goal weight?

Hi, I posted recently about starting to try losing weight, too.  I just had my fourth baby (he's 3.5 months old), though my are farther apart than yours. = )
(ages 10, 7, 3, and 3.5 months)

I started out by :
-drinking ONLY water with meals and thru the day
-cutting back on iced coffee (from 5 a week to 3 a week... I know... I could do better)
-eating yogurt or oatmeal or cottage cheese and fruit for breakfast
-still having snacks (cookie, ice cream), but having an actual "serving size" or less.  I actually eat my ice cream out of the 1/2-cup measuring cup.

I don't feel I have time to exercise, either, but I have fit in a few TINY things, like doing wall presses (push-ups against a wall) before I get in the shower; 50 crunches on my ab ball in the morning before I get the kids up; etc.

I am planning to start the Food Tracker on here, too.

Good luck, maybe we can motivate each other. = )
