That's great that you're already noticing a difference in the way your clothing fits! If you've only just started your new diet/exercise program it's going to take a while for other changes to show. It won't happen over night, but rather over a period of time but if you're already noticing a difference in certain areas, you're definitely off to a great start. Just keep at it and you'll continue to see changes. As far as exercise goes, situps alone arent enough to trim down your stomach. Situps actually don't do much of anything. You have to reduce the belly fat before you can see any kind of definition in your abs. The best best to trim down your stomach is to burn fat and the best way to do that is cardio. Walking, swimming, kickboxing pretty much any type of activity that elevates your heart rate. And unfortunately you can't spot reduce so trying to focus on working one specific area won't work. You have to lose fat overall and pretty much your body decides where it's going to let go of the weight. My stomach is still a big problem area for me even though I've lost 150 lbs because that's just genetically where my weight goes, but it has improved a lot.
Keep working at it - do a search for different exercises. Check out Spark People - they have a lot - all free!! So do other sites. Search for "free workouts" - you should come up with a bunch.
yep im at the middle point too!! you just have to keep at it!! Make sure you do different exercises like the reverse crunch and the jacknives they are really great!! Like they have been advising me here im doing great and to just wait cus my belly will follow in suit soon enough!!
