Impatient woman with stubborn weight

I am 36 years old. 256Ibs. 5'6.
I would like to have another child next year but I really would like to lose about 40lbs. first. I just need to know what the best way is to go about doing that. I try to walk 3 miles a day weather permitting. I have 10lb weights which I do curls with. I do leg lifts and sit ups. Not real good with push ups. Need work on upper body strength. I appreciate any workout and/or eating tips.

I am with you on that. I have two kids and am over 300lbs. I recently re married and my husband wants a baby since he has no kids (except the two he gained with marriage) I know my body can't handle. My problem is eating late and water. I am focused on wanted intake and eating earlier. Good luck!

Cut out all whites.... Meaning flours, sugars and even corn. Replace with high-protein foods such as black beans, fish, tuna, chicken...you can also use brown rice in place of the starch ...stay active, drink a lot of water (half your body weight in ounces) try not to eat three hours before bedtime
