You can lose up to 5pds a week depending on your starting weight and commitment. If you are 200 pds or over, this may work for you.
- DRINK LOTS of WATER - 64oz a day should be your goal. It was easier for me when I used my personal water bottle rather than just store bought bottled water. It was cheaper too.
- Throw out ur fat foods or give them away. Even when tempted, at least they won't be there so harder to access.
- replace those with high fiber and protein foods like vegetables, whole wheat bread, oatmeal, eggs and salsa, low fat yogurt, seafood like fresh water tilapia, fruits, skim milk, almond milk, certain soups. You can make a lot of good meals from this,as long as you start with fiber in the morning, and add green tea to your daily beverages. No juice or pop! Just water and tea. If you want I can send you my eating schedule and simple recipes.
- the diet is hard, but the workout is harder. Tale two hours a day - one in the morning and one after work or later on on the day. You will want to combine strength training and cardio to get effective workout. I do this with circuit training.http://www.pbfingers.com/2012/01/15/at-home-workouts/ check out these that you can do at home. Combine with 30 min of cardio (walking , running etc.). Repeat at night too. Aim for a total a of 5 miles of running or walking (treadmill or elliptical -whichever really) by the end of each day. It's hard, but the best part is when you get used to it! Making working out a hobby or habit is central to maintaining weight loss.
Make sure you generally try to limit calories, but the foods above are usually pretty low in them regardless.
Let me know if u need more details! Good luck
You can't lose weight fast... You probably didn't gain it overnight, so you can't lose it overnight either.
Maybe you're doing the wrong type of exercises? Maybe you're eating the wrong foods or too many calories. We need more information in order to help you get started.
