I'm glad it helps with people who are not insulin resistant. I heard it did not work if you were not insulin resistant.
it does work....however i am not insulin resistance. my doctor already knows that, but still wanted to try metformin to see if it will help.
I have some girlfriends with PCOS and have heard that it poses a huge barrier to weight loss. I'm glad the medication and diet/exercise plan are proving effective!
well msniki and I are on metformin for pcos and so we are losing weight with the help of that. That only seems to work if you have an insulin resistance.
I am walking 30-45 minutes a day at lunch and am on a low carb diet.
OK, I just posted to msniki that I hope she fills us in on her methods, but obviously the same goes to you! It'd be great if you could tell us what methods you are using to accomplish this.
One small warning, and no I'm not trying to rain on your parade, is that the next 30 lbs may come off slower. I admit that lately I'm totally stuck and I need to improve that. But when I was doing better, I did notice that my rate of weight loss was not constant. I lost over 10 lbs my first month, then a little less each month.
I'll put away my "capt. bring down" attitude now! Again, congrats, and I hope you come back and tell us more!
Thats great lori! Like I said I'm with you, I lost 30.5lbs so far. Keep up the good work!!!
great job!!!! I did that a couple of years ago but now that I had my son the weight is reluctant to come off so congrats!!!
How on earth did you do that? I'd give almost anything to lose 10 lbs in 3 months, let alone 30!!
Yeah Lori! That is fantastic! ; ) *Beaming with pride*
