I have also tried certain weight loss tips to reduce body weight. Health expert advised me certain body exercise, which caused more excursion in the body.
I have lost just 3 pounds of weight by taking medicines prescribed by doctor like hoodia and acai berry, with no results.

Hello Josh,  I notice you want to lose some weight, you should definitely add Memory Oil to your diet, I recently did and it is allot healthier than many oils I have ever tried with my food.  I put it in my bagels, rice, even my coffee, popcorn, corn on the cob and etc.  It has done wonders for me and many others.  My family also enjoys the taste and I would recommend it.  I also hear that it restores the brain cells and gives it the ketones your brain cells need, and reduces epilepsy and memory loss (Alzheimer's).  I wish you luck.

First thing I can recommend is to stop taking the hoodia and acai berry. I'm surprised your doctor actually prescribed those! Acai is a completely overhyped product which is supposed to be some kind of miracle weight loss supplement. Acai berry is just a berry. Nothing more, nothing less. I don't know what else is being added to it when it's being made into supplements, but over and over again I keep reading things from people that say they've tried the acai supplements, but it doesnt work and want to know why. Because it's a gimmick plain and simple. And hoodia, I actually have read that it's helped some people *somewhat* but it's a temporary fix, and you will have much better results for the long term by doing something else...

Ok so effective ways to shed undesired weight. Here we go.

1.Eat less
2.Move more.

That's it! There are no magic bullets or secrets when it comes to losing weight. It took me years of trying all kinds of fad diets and bogus infomercial products to figure this out. I eventually lost 170 lbs by following the  "eating less and moving more" plan. It works, I promise.

I'll go a little more in depth. First thing is nutrition. Start eliminating "empty calories" wherever you can. This includes soda, fast food, overly processed/packaged foods (pretty much typical junk food), "white stuff" (white breads, white pastas, white rice, refined sugar etc). Some of this stuff is still okay, in moderation and on occasion but you should try and fill the bulk of your diet with healthy nutritious whole foods. Fruits and vegetables, lean meat/poultry, healthy fats (avocado, nuts/seeds, olive/canola oils, fatty fish, flax etc), lowfat/fat free dairy, beans/legumes, whole grains (oatmeal, brown rice, quinoa, whole wheat breads/pastas etc) Aside from the quality of your calories, the QUANTITY plays a HUGE role in weight loss. Some people like to follow low carb diets, low fat or other type of specific eating plans. I pretty much give myself the freedom to eat whatever I want (within reason) but I stick to a daily calorie range. Calorie counting is one of the most effective and in my opinion, easiest ways to lose excess weight. To find the right calorie range for you, google "weight loss calorie calculator" and you'll come across a bunch of websites that will help calculate your estimated daily calorie goal for weight loss based on your specific needs (they will take into account your age, height, gender and weight.) There are a lot of great free online resources that are extremely helpful.

Next is exercise. I'm not sure what type of exercise you were recommended to do, but you don't have to exert yourself on an extreme level. It's best if you gradually ease yourself into a more active lifestyle, and then once you feel stronger and more fit, you can work on building your intensity. Like I said, start easy at first. Try and get 30 minutes of activity a day most days of the week. Even walking will make a tremendous difference. Low impact sports, swimming or light strength training are other options to consider. A little bit of activity goes a long way so don't feel like you have to kill yourself in the gym to see results.

As far as losing weight from specific areas, there is no way to do this. We are all genetically predispositioned to carry our weight in certain areas and the only way we can make those areas "shrink", is to lose weight overall.

Don't worry about any type of weight loss pills, or crash/fad diets. Diets do not work (not for the long term at least) Instead, focus on making a long-term commitment to living a healthier lifestyle and making the best choices you can. Once you start becoming more active and eating healthier (and eating less), the weight loss will inevitably follow. Best of luck to you!
