New!

Hey everyone! I'm new to this and wanted to find some friends to add on here for support.

I'm 19 years old and spent my life being the 'little' one. I was 5'2" and 110 pounds throughout high school.  However,  at the end of my senior year I went through a bad breakup and began to emotionally eat. Now, almost two years later. I have gained 30 pounds. I want to get down the 110 I used to be. I hope to achieve this by calorie reduction and exercise. I want to lose 1.5 lbs a week and be down to about 123 by Christmas. So, I'd just like to have some friends on here for support and to talk to when things get hard. Thanks everyone!

Welcome -- have you tried the food diary, exercise and weight trackers yet?  A food diary is an excellent way to keep track of what you are eating and how much. You can make notes by each meal/snack you eat, so you can see what conditions are triggering your emotional eating, then try to divert your attention (go for a walk, call a friend, exercise, etc) whenever that emotion surfaces again.

Hope this helps........
