Started water aerobics, next...yoga!

by peekawho, Mar 14, 2008 07:23PM
I've started going to water aerobics, which is fun but is still giving my back a hard time.  I think it will get better.

I'm also going to join a yoga group at the rec center.  I just want to keep moving and stirring things up.

When I went to see the dr on Tues in felt that what I have been going through, I should wait to take yoga by the middle of the month. I love my pool therapy and in time you will definitely enjoy yours. I look at it this way "God only giives you what you can handle" and right now I feel like right now I can conquer the world.

Good Luck and God Bless,

Barb

I really need to follow the examples you all are setting.  If I have to be honest, besides being lazy  ; ) I guess I am frightened about my appetite exploding due to the exercise.  But that's no excuse.....I have to just get off my duff.

I despise exercise.  I'd be happy to be propped up on the couch 24/7.

But that's not reality.  I have to do this, so I'll do things I like.  Just a select few, though!

I tried a "yogalates" class today...it is a combo of yoga and pilates...it just about killed me. DH even had to take my jacket off for me when i came home!

I joined a gym the other day, and they have everything--all sorts of classes and water aerobics, too.  I'm going to my first yoga class today.

They also have a combo class of yoga and pilates--I think I'd better get familiar with one or the other first!

I gotta get a' movin' myself.  I have to get over all my excuses for NOT exercising...It makes you feel so much better when you are done....I have to start slow.  I have an elliptical machine sitting in my basement and it is a $2000 dollar dust collector!!! What a shame!!!!
