Sunday Weigh In

by Barb135, Nov 01, 2009 05:17AM
Well, another week has come and gone and it's time to see where we are in our weight loss journey.  Let us know whether you've gained or lost, how much, and what successes and/or stumbling blocks you've had.

I'm still  holding steady at 143 lbs -- seems like I'm stuck and that number for the time being.  I'm sticking to some light exercise, as I am finding too much/too vigorously leaves me out of breath and so tired.  I will be seeing my doctor on the 9th for the results of my echocardiogram and hopefully, will be able to come up with a plan of action as I'm ready to get back to normal living again.

Let's hear from you now.

Unfortunately didn't weigh in today.  Not feeling well with a cold and actually got going before I had a chance.  I am a stickler for doing it at the same time each day.

I am up over what I was due to my trip to Chicago but it is coming down.  I suspect next week I'll be celebrating losses again.  And, we are just a few days away from finishing our reno in the basement.  I will soon have my exercise room in place.

Im down 1.6, but for some reason im not getting the same feeling for my loses anymore,
I am still on track and still staying strong but i have lost my drive, not really sure why, I am already worried about the weight going back on, and not being able to maintain so is it really worth it? i know it is worth it but i cant help wondering, i have lost weight before never this much though and it always goes back on. The thought that this journey is for life is really scary.

Trudie -- I can understand how you might be up some from your trip to Chicago.  I am sorry to hear that you have a cold though and hope you are taking care of that.

Wow -- to have your very own exercise room -- I wouldn't know how to act if I had that.  I tried to set up my spare bedroom as an exercise room, but it's not big enough for both "bedroom furniture" for use when we have guests AND exercise equipment.

Elaine -- I'm happy to hear that you are down, yet again -- you've done an awesome job and I'm sorry to hear that you've lost your drive.

I can understand your concern about being able to maintain, but you've made actual lifestyle changes, versus "going on a diet", you should be okay.  Just think of the health benefits you are gaining from having lost weight.

And don't forget, you have us, whenever the journey seems too scary or overwhelming.      (hugs)
