I was wondering if anyone could give me advice, on a supplement called 'Tribulus Terrestris', im doing weights 3-4 times aweek with an average diet which could be better, yet dont seem to feel the effects, some body has recommened this supplement, im 20 years, old a have a reasonable fitness level, i currently take Whey protein, Creatine, BCAA's, Vitamins and Calcium supplements.
Apparently the benefits of these are increased testostrone levels, which is desired when wanting to increase muscle which i do. I looked for these products in health shops and found them in Holland and Barret, (a 'natural health' shop), they state they contain a minimum of 40% Steroidal Saponins.
My question is would these be safe for me to use as i want to gain muscle and dont seem to be noticing a difference at the moment.!
i work with these supplements, companies, etc.
trib is something you shouldn't need nor waste your money.
a more reliable supplement is zma, zinc/mag. aspartate/b-6,
but if you not deficient it may not make much difference.
