Today I made myself eat breakfast...sounds weird I know, but a particularly bad downfall for me. Home made wheat toast, one slice cut in half, and one boiled egg. Very good for me I must say. Then I took the mini dobie for a 2 mile walk. A little brisk outside, but very nice I must say. And got some of that extra energy burned off of the doggie too....I swear, there is something about that breed that is FULL of energy! Maybe he's been nipping in the sugar bowl perhaps? *Just teasing* From what I hear it is normal for their breed, but he makes me tired just watching him run around sometimes. LOL!
As for myself - I, too, am trying to take one step at a time. I'm making headway. Mostly my exercise at this point is walking because I do so much of it at work, plus, *I* have 2 dogs to walk every day. I am trying to fit in a few other simple exercises throughout the day, if I can get someplace where I'm not right out in the open - looks kind of silly walking across a school campus doing exercises!!
Actually, good for you - sneaking in exercise throughout the day *in addition to* all the walking you already do! Go, girl!
I thought I was the only one who wasn't/isn't a breakfast eater! When I first began this weight loss journey (2 1/2 years ago), I knew that breakfast had to be an every day thing. For one thing, I was exercising first thing in the morning and I had to rev up my metabolism if that walk was going to do any good.
While I don't wake up hungry and I STILL have to *remember* to eat, on the very rare occasion that I DO forget, my stomach is growling so loud that TuTu Boy could probably hear it! I think that's one of the most positive changes I made - and the fact that I eat a healthy breakfast (LF yogurt typically). Before, I was ONLY interested in breakfast if it was sweet (leftover cake, donuts, etc.).
That's just one of the steps. The other major one is having increased my activity level from maybe 10 walks/year (!) to vigorous activity 4-6 times/week! I can't believe how much I have changed!
Oh NO, everyone be careful -- she has satellite vision----------- Panic time!! Now I have to really get busy or she will know every time I slack (or did I mean s(n)ack?)!!

Well .. here is the quiz Miss Twehner .. what was I doin out in the yard today .. lollll ***I think I disguised it as cleaning out the garage*** ha haa ha
My motivation always skyrockets around you three! And yes, Miss Lucinda .. that dog is either going to be your saving grace or work you till you drop! Still have visions of you running down the street .. hmmm .. was it in a nightgown??? ***bad girl, Ranae .. bad girl*** ;)
In all seriousness - gotta love twehner for the motivation she tosses out there!! It's always easier to keep going when we can have some fun and get a few laughs!! All work and no play makes Barb a dull girl!!
Every Mooove you make, Every snack you take

But, did you see ME yesterday? NOPE, 'cause I went to bed with the chickens!
Goin' to step class, I HOPE this morning, and ready for another day of envisioning our favorint TuTu Boy.
That Barb---shady character---you might NOT want to hide out with her! She THINKS she's disguising stretches out on the school yard. I think she's auditioning for the NEXT high school musical LOL!!!
