Thanks Ranae - I find weighing every day my only way to stay focused but I do fluctuate quite a bit, daily. I use Sunday as my recorded weigh in day because I found my spiky graph a little off putting, I like to see order lol.
I just find myself wishing for Sunday to come so I can record my (hopefully) sucessful weight drop. lol.
First, welcome back!
When I began my transition to a healthy lifestyle, I started weighing myself daily at the same time and in the same outfit. This provided me with an accurate weight (allowing for a 2 lb fluctuation) and made me responsible for my food choices each day. While many people find it difficult to do this, I found it most helpful and did not obsess about it. I knew by what I had eaten the previous day if the 1-2 lb increase was due to water and/or muscle or due to the fact that I had not made the best choices in eating. If it was the latter, I quickly (immediately) forgave myself and started fresh with making better choices.
In doing a survey, I found that I am in the minority. However, medical studies show that those who weigh daily lose more weight when compared to those who do not.
