a dancer trying ot lose weight

i am trying to lose 40lbs before my drill team tryouts and if there are any dancers or anyone who know exercises for dancers i really want to tone up and get in shape so i will make drill team and look hot in my uniform i really want to strengthen my core and legs since these are used the most in dance
if you have any advice or something tht would be appreciated!
