Have you checked with your doctor to make sure you don't a medical issue that is preventing you from losing weight - such as hypothyroidism, insulin resistance, PCOS, etc?

I have hypothyroidism/hashimoto's thyroiditis and am finding it nearly impossible to lose weight AND constipation is a major symptom.  I, too, am 5' tall and my varies between 143 and 148.

You can try a probiotic and see if that helps.  I am taking "Pearls" - purchased at the pharmacy.  I also take cranberry pills with a probiotic.  Seems to help me - not with the weight loss, but with the constipation issue......

Also, make sure you get plenty of fiber and drink lots of water......
