Okay, well have you had children?  I always had a six pack until after my first son was born, the my uppper stomach went back to normal and you could see its definition but my lower belly was a big pouch!!! THEN I had my second son, worked out and everything on my body was rock solid, curvy and toned EXCEPT my stomach!!  I couldn't figure out why and like you I could feel the muscles but couldn't see them.... well after you have children your stomach muscles stretch apart and aren't easily put back together and sometimes they never will be... I didn't want to get a tummy tuck, or shall I say I coudln't afford one, so my trainer suggested to work out my stomach by lying in the ground with my knees bent and lying to one side and do crunches that way. Doing this for both sides... it help to develop the muscles closet to our hips next to our lower and it gave me an apperance of fully tones stomach!!! or get that tummy tuck and have your muscle sewed back together again!!
