You need to have your EKG interpreted by a cardiac specialist. A T-wave abnormality is very nonspecific and not the whole story. You didn't even say if you had chest pain. This is a heart electrical problem that could have many different meanings.
In general, you should take care of your heart and cardiovascular system in all the common ways we always hear about taking care of our cardiovascular system. You know this stuff I'm sure. Don't eat fast food and eat more vegetables, lean poultry, fish, and lean meat, fruits, and limit carbohydrates that are low in nutritive value and fiber. Some veggie have carbs, but those are fine because you are avoiding the empty calories of desserts, breads, cakes, cookies. Potatoes are okay if you aren't putting a lot of butter and sour cream, but sweet potato has more nutrition, so those are better. Eat a small potato, small banana, a few nuts. You want lots of variety, not quantity. Food you prepare so you can limit salt and know what's in your food. Use olive oil instead of less healthy fats.
